Welcome to Fairies and Arsenic, my blog and portfolio for all of my endeavors. I am a 23 year old aspiring professional with a growing list of publications under my belt. My creative style has been described as a “(...) dreamlike prowl,” by Boulevard Literary Magazine and my academic essays “(...) show a nuanced understanding of the concepts and an ability to conduct viable anthropological research” to quote Steve Moog, cultural anthropologist. Moving forward, I am most interested in melding these concepts into essays that explore the concept of Create and Consume. What this means, to me, is that to be alive is to do both, and to function, is to do both well. What in our society creates, and what consumes? What does both? What is the true meaning of this statement? And what does it mean to you, Reader?
